About this tour
Lush trails, turquoise rivers, waterfalls and wildlife — this private day trip lets you experience the green side of Guanacaste at your own pace. Instead of a fixed itinerary, you build the day around what you love most, and your private driver-guide takes care of everything else.
How the day works
Most guests combine Llanos de Cortés Waterfall plus two more activities, leaving around 7:00 a.m. and returning to the hotel around 4:00 p.m. If you prefer a shorter day, choose the waterfall plus one activity and be back earlier.
First stop: Llanos de Cortés Waterfall
About 1 hour and 10 minutes from the Papagayo Peninsula, this wide curtain of water drops into a calm pool with a sandy beach — a perfect place to stretch your legs and take a refreshing swim. It is highly recommended, but optional if you would rather go straight to your next activity.
